Do You Have Whiplash or Neck Pain?
Do you have whiplash or other neck pain? Maybe you were in an auto accident or took a bad fall? Oftentimes, this discomfort sets in 1-2 days after your accident and can linger for long periods of time.
Massage Therapy Can Help!
At Boulder Therapeutics, we understand that your neck pain or whiplash can be limiting and even mentally challenging. We’re here to help! Our massage therapists are skilled in injury rehab and pain relief. We have worked with numerous clients who have been in auto accidents.
Understanding Whiplash.
Whiplash symptoms are usually caused when the neck gets “whipped” forward and then backward (or vice versa). The muscles of the neck tighten in an attempt to decelerate or slow down the motion of the neck and head. This tightening can cause muscle spasms and imbalances which may also produce headaches. The ligaments connecting the spine may have been damaged in the process and you may have bulging discs. We can help relieve these symptoms.
Why Choose Boulder Therapeutics?
We can help you! Our trained therapists will provide the right soft-tissue release and massage treatments for you. We’ll start slowly and work with you to give you greater neck range of motion while helping to decrease your painful symptoms. When appropriate, we’ll apply techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, a series of muscle energy techniques or active stretching & release.
We’ll review your overall posture and help unwind your pattern. We will also help you determine whether to use ice or heat and provide you with stretches & recommendations to help you feel better.
